Displaying User Supervisor Information
In our last deploy, we added the ability to upload and store mobile user supervisor information via an API call. Now you have the ability to see the user’s Supervisor in the Nrby dashboard. The user table has a new column, Supervisor, seen in the screenshot below.
And the details screen for the user has two new read-only fields for the Supervisor Email and the Supervisor Phone Number.
These fields are purposefully read-only. Nrby does not want to be your HR software. If a user’s supervisor changes, please upload a new CSV file with the new information.
Nrby does not use the Supervisor Phone Number today, but may use it in the future to enhance our Notification methods with text messages.

Timed State Changes Clear Attribute Values
If a SmartPin is manually transitioned to a different type of SmartPin, the non-persistent attributes are cleared of their current values. If the Attribute has a default value, that is filled in. Prior to today, if the system transitioned the SmartPin to a different type of SmartPin, the current attribute values were left in place. Now SmartPins transitioned by the Timed State Change Trigger behave just like manually transitioned SmartPins. The current non-persistent attribute values are cleared and default values are filled in if present.
Timed State Change Trigger Cycles
When a Timed State Change Trigger is created, an automatic Time Of Completion Attribute is created for that SmartPin. That Time of Completion attribute is used by the system to know when the transition should occur. The logic around that Time Of Completion attribute was not working correctly when a SmartPin was setup to trigger automatically over and over again. Picture the use case where you have a Generator that you want to automatically transition to Generator Needs Maintenance every 30 days. Then when Generator Needs Maintenance is Completed, it automatically goes back to a Generator with a new 30 day timer. Now you can do that.
