One of the best features for Nrby is the ability to assign any SmartPin to any technician, or even a group of technicians. There are no time constraints. You can assign an existing SmartPin that has been on the map for a long period of time or it could be done immediately after the SmartPin has been created.
To assign a SmartPin, just find the SmartPin you want to assign. Remember the search bar is a good tool to help find SmartPins when the map is very cluttered. Click on the SmartPin to open the SmartPin details screen. At the bottom of the detailed screen you will find the “Assign” button. Click on the Assign button.
This opens a menu to enter emails address. Start to enter the emails of the technician. This will auto populate selections as characters are entered. Pick the technician. You can repeat this process if you need to assign the same SmartPin to additional technicians. Once you have all the emails simply hit send.
To view all the assigned SmartPins look for Reports on the main column to the immediate right of the map. Click on that to access the Dashboard reports.
In the reports section look for the Assignment option in the top header, it’s the one to the far right. Click on that and all the assigned SmartPins will be listed. Note, these are all the open assigned SmartPins. Closed SmartPins will not show up in this report.
The search bar can be used to drill down to any SmartPin or Technician. Clicking on the SmartPin name to the right of the SmartPin icon opens the SmartPin detail screen allowing you to view any updates.
